Green Pasta & Bones
Every parent can relate to the need for quick and easy meals ideas. While homemade cooking is the absolute best, we all have days where a frozen pizza is our savior. This is a fun and easy meal I came up with for my kiddos around Halloween.
I found some green spinach fettuccine noodles at the store recently and just had to get them and play around. Made some green pasta and turned some dough into bones. I also learned that kids CAN taste the difference of the spinach noodles so I had to whip up another version with regular noodles and green food coloring in the white alfredo sauce.
Ingredients:

To make the pasta, simply boil the green noodles (or plain if you chose that method) and then add the alfredo sauce when they are done and drained. If you are doing the plain noodles with green alfredo then you need to add the green food coloring to the sauce before adding it to the pasta.

To Make the Bone Breadsticks simply open the pizza crust, cut the dough into 1″ strips and then do the following: (You could use any kind of dough but for the bone breadsticks we like them more crunchy like bones and so pizza crust worked great.)

Melt some butter and rub it onto each stick and sprinkle on a little garlic salt.

Great Ideas. My kids will love this!
Green pasta. great idea! Ive heard of red pasta being bloody for the holiday but green is a great twist to it.
