St.Patrick’s Day is full of green and rainbows but how about bringing some of that into your foods. Celebrate St.Patrick’s day in the kitchen and add a little color to your foods. These 5 fun and easy St.Patrick’s day foods don’t take much extra time …
March is full of great days to celebrate. It’s the little things that count so why not start with celebrating even the smallest of days, making most days a celebration. When I think of March I instantly think of my birthday on the 23rd, but after that I think of Spring starting, flowers blooming and St.Patrick’s day. As March rings in, we begin to feel a shift in the seasons and change from the warm colors and cozy feelings to the light pastels and cool fresh air.
“In March the soft rains continued, and each storm waited courteously until its predecessor sunk beneath the ground.” ~John Steinbeck
Here is a list of some of the main special days in March, I hope you will pick at least a few to celebrate with your family and friends.

Thinking about Planning a Cruise? The thought of trying to plan a cruise can be quite overwhelming. Where to go, what cruise line, what do you need to pack….there is a lot that goes into planning a cruise, but we can help take the stress …
With 8 kids it seems like we are always having a party and I just love to come up with new ideas and themes and awesomeness for our parties. You can also imagine that with 8 kids finding the time to be creative is quite a task as well so I am more interested in ideas that will make my party prep and set-up more quick and easy! This year for one of my son’s birthday, we chose to do a Superhero themed birthday party and boy was it fun to plan.
I usually like to design hand made invitations on the computer for a quicker print of all the info but this time I just bought the superhero invites and took the time to fill them in one by one. Must more work then designing on the computer and clicking print for however many you need so I would definitely recommend designing them online or buying a designed invite that you can print at home. Saves a lot of time.
*I do design and sell custom invites for any theme or event! Contact me for order information HERE!
The next step was designing all the little extras such as the cupcake toppers, banner, water bottle labels, food cards, food picks and more. This is actually very easy to do on the computer because you really just keep using the same things for each item and just adjust certain aspects. The hardest part was cutting them all out and preparing them, but the final outcome makes it so worth it and it is cheaper then buying from the party store. This is also something you can purchase custom online and I do these all as well.

This time I decided to try to do all my chocolate covered items the night before and this was a smart idea that I will continue with future parties. It saved me a lot of stress and time the day of the party.

The day of the party I put together the Candy Buffet and completed all the decorations and made the food…yes I was up early and busy all day until the party at 3pm, but this is another reason I plan the parties to be a little later in the day!

Hopefully I have inspired you with your party creativity. Always remember to have fun!
