5 Fun & Easy St.Patrick’s Day Foods

St.Patrick’s Day is full of green and rainbows but how about bringing some of that into your foods. Celebrate St.Patrick’s day in the kitchen and add a little color to your foods. These 5 fun and easy St.Patrick’s day foods don’t take much extra time or money and are a hit with people of all ages.

Rainbow Pancakes

Planning on making pancakes? Well, just separate your batter into a few different bowls and add some food coloring and you have rainbow pancakes. Kids love them!

Lucky Charms Cereal with Green Milk

Sticking with the easy cereal for breakfast? I don’t do sugar cereals for my kids but once in a while a special treat is nice and why not on St.Patrick’s day. Lucky Charms just naturally goes with St.Patrick’s day and you can easily festive it up a little more by adding green food coloring to the milk. My kids actually were excited to have milk just because it was green. You could do this to Almond milk as well.

Rainbow Jellos

When I first ventured into making these Jellos I wasn’t thinking too clearly at the store and got Peach for the orange color and later realized I should have gotten Orange. Peach just wasn’t quite orange enough for me, but the kids still said they liked the “orange”.

This was super easy to make, just took time because you have to let each color set before you can add the next color so be sure to plan ahead.

Rainbow Non-Alcoholic Drink

Oh this was super fun to make with the kids. It was like a science experiment that they got to drink.

First add orange juice to the glass…more then half way.

Next slowly add grenadine to the glass by using a spoon causing the grenadine to pour onto the spoons and slowly run down the side of the orange juice and to the bottom of the glass,

Next you will add the blue food coloring to a small glass o club soda and slowly use a spoon to add it to the glass as well. It will settle at the top of the orange juice if you go slow enough and be sure it hits the spoon first.
