Carmel, CA Weekend Trip

Carmel, CA Weekend Trip

Living in Northern California there are many weekend trips, but one of my favorites is Carmel, CA. It is a sweet little town with an old school vibe. Lots of little shops and cute cottages everywhere. Not to mention the beautiful Pacific ocean is right there. At the end of the main street in town, you find this beautiful beach. Just know that the parking for this beach is small and often full so it might be best to park on one of the other streets and take the little walk.

While walking through the town I fell in love with many of the succulents that seemed to grow so well there.

One thing that is neat about Carmel is the little secret areas that can be found if you really keep your eyes open.

Something that always grabs my attention anywhere I travel is doors and entry ways. There are many beautiful and sweet ones in Carmel.

Around every corner seems be a tranquil place to sit and relax.

Carmel is a beautiful place to get lost in for a weekend. I like to return each year and breath in the ocean air while doing a little unique shopping and enjoying some great food. I love the interesting this that can be seen and appreciated if you let yourself be in the moment.

I would highly recommend Carmel, CA to anyone looking for something tranquil yet inspiring in Calfornia. You cal also drive abotu 15 min up the highway and visit Monterrey while you are there. It is a much smaller little spot with shops and good eats.

See you in Carmel…
