Healthy Valentine’s Day Berry Snacks
Valentine’s day is a wonderful holiday full of pinks, reds, love and hearts but it is also a parent’s nightmare with all the sweets and candies. I love making cute little festive snacks that are also healthy. Healthy Valentine’s Day snacks are fun and cute and…not loaded with that sugar we try to avoid!
For Valentine’s day I tried to come up with some healthy foods that go along with the themes of the day and of course Berries came to mind instantly. Fruit is healthy and have that natural sweet that still attracts children and adults alike. If you follow me at all you know that I love kabob sticks and anything creative I can stick on them for a simple finger food with an attractive presentation. I simply stuck some berries on the stick and then added a cute heart marshmallow or a piece of angel food cake.

I hope this inspires you to think a little healthy and a tad bit festive with your snacks. Get creative and look around at the store for more fun and healthy ideas that can be added to your kabobs. You could try some of the other berries and fruits, or even add a gummy fruit snack to the top instead of a marshmallow.
