Mailed Kisses
I love preparing for one of my favorite holidays, Valentine’s Day. Planning special Valentine’s Day gifts for my sweetie is the funnest. Sometimes it gets harder and harder to come up with new creative ideas that will still surprise him. Since Valentine’s day is on the 14th of February I like to do things that I can use to celebrate or share the holiday each of the first 14 days of February. One thing I like to do is Mailed Kisses. They are fun and special…and most of all super easy and cheap!
Supplies Needed:
All you need is a card (can even be hand made), lipstick and a piece of paper and scissors. Pack on some lipstick, kiss a piece of paper 14 times and then cut them out. One thing I have noticed is the lipstick starts to wear off so I had to reapply over and over. Once you have completed all of your kisses, cut them out, place them in the card and mail to that special someone.
One extra touch is to write a special note on the back of each one. You can write I love you on all of them or you can write one thing you love about the person on each one. You can even make it more sexy and write a place you want to kiss the person! Get creative. Have fun! I actually just had a thought and you could even use different colored lipsticks for the kisses, no reason they all have to be the same.
In the card, I wrote a little note that each kiss is for each day of February leading up to Valentine’s day. I wish I could have been there when my sweetie opened the card to see if they all fall out but in any case he called me as soon as he got it in the mail. Another tip…if you live together it is best to find another address you can send it to them at so they are the ones who actually receive it in the mail and the surprise has a bigger effect. Makes for a bigger surprise.
I hope this has inspired you to put on some lipstick and start kissing some paper! lol
