Superhero Birthday Party
With 8 kids it seems like we are always having a party and I just love to come up with new ideas and themes and awesomeness for our parties. You can also imagine that with 8 kids finding the time to be creative is quite a task as well so I am more interested in ideas that will make my party prep and set-up more quick and easy! This year for one of my son’s birthday, we chose to do a Superhero themed birthday party and boy was it fun to plan.
I usually like to design hand made invitations on the computer for a quicker print of all the info but this time I just bought the superhero invites and took the time to fill them in one by one. Must more work then designing on the computer and clicking print for however many you need so I would definitely recommend designing them online or buying a designed invite that you can print at home. Saves a lot of time.

The next step was designing all the little extras such as the cupcake toppers, banner, water bottle labels, food cards, food picks and more. This is actually very easy to do on the computer because you really just keep using the same things for each item and just adjust certain aspects. The hardest part was cutting them all out and preparing them, but the final outcome makes it so worth it and it is cheaper then buying from the party store. This is also something you can purchase custom online and I do these all as well.

This time I decided to try to do all my chocolate covered items the night before and this was a smart idea that I will continue with future parties. It saved me a lot of stress and time the day of the party.

The day of the party I put together the Candy Buffet and completed all the decorations and made the food…yes I was up early and busy all day until the party at 3pm, but this is another reason I plan the parties to be a little later in the day!

Hopefully I have inspired you with your party creativity. Always remember to have fun!

Wow – I am just so amazed at what you managed to achieve for this party! I thought just getting the invites out and catering with the food was hard enough – but you have taken this to a whole new impressive level. This would set a tone for a really wonderful and memorable party.
