Thanksgiving Care Package

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we already came up with our Thanksgiving care package for my son in the Air Force. It is so much easier just to cut a bunch of images on my Cricut and decorate the box. I don’t have a lot of extra time to create something custom each and every time so I wanted to share this FREE .svg file for the Thanksgiving Care Package.

First, we start with getting a large priority shipping box from the USPS and 12×12 paper as well as some glue.

Simply cut two pieces of 12×12 in half and glue one piece to the inside of each of the four taps of the box. Glue one full 12×12 to the bottom of the inside of the box. Then we glued our cutouts in various places for some color and design. *Tip: Glue sticks work great for gluing on the cutouts but regular glue is best for the pieces of paper glued to the tabs.

We then decided to write personal messages for our Airman to read as he opens and goes through his box…

As far as items we included in his box…we went with specific things he requested this time as he is still getting settled into his new base and dorm. Yes, he did request Mine Craft sheets. lol

Finally, we loaded all his goodies into the box and shipped the box off.
